Basic Unreal Racer

Note: Press ESCAPE to exit the game

This is based off the UNF Games tutorial on Youtube "How to Create a Car Racing Game in Unreal Engine 5 - UE5 Beginner Tutorial". The track and car are mostly the same as what comes with the UE5 racing game template.

The tutorial I followed covers the following features

• Game mode with a checkpoint system (I created the lap system on my own)
• Speed-dependent camera shake (I added functionality to the first person POV)
• Generated the car's RPM sound from a triangle wave, implemented skid and crash sounds
• HUD/UI animations
• Texturing and adding foliage to the level
• Creating a tool to quickly insert straight and spline track walls
• Using the sequencer for winning or losing the game
